What is the maximum length of the USB cable that can be used for the Mimio products?

MimioTeach and Mimio Xi can go a maximum of 32′ (10 meters) with an unpowered or powered hub between the two cables. Lengths beyond that have not been tested, though using as many powered hubs as you want could provide a longer range (again, not approved by Mimio). Whenever I connect my Mimio Xi bar to my computer, it starts Ink Capture Mode instead of Interactive Mode. What can I do to make Mimio default to Interactive Mode when I connect my Mimio Xi bar?

Open Mimio Notebook. Select Tools > Settings > Interactive. Select “Automatically enable when a device is detected.” Close MimioStudio Notebook and disconnect the Mimio Xi. Open MimioStudio Notebook. Connect Mimio Xi and the calibration screen for Interactive Mode will appear.

The Mimio device will not turn off. How can I resolve this?

When connected to the computer via USB or powered with AC power, the Mimio device will always stay on. To power down the Mimio device, the AC adapter or USB cable must be unplugged from the Mimio device.

My eraser does not work in Capture Mode and I just put in new batteries. How can I resolve this?

Verify Mimio Notebook is in Capture Mode. When in Capture Mode, there will be a status message in the lower left corner of Mimio Notebook identifying that you are connected to a Mimio device.
