Copperas Cove Independent School District Adds Another 200 Boxlight Interactive Projectors
Lawrenceville, GA — July 27, 2017 — Interactive projectors provide a cost-effective way for teachers to use touch technology to encourage student engagement and collaboration and also enliven classroom instruction with clear, beautifully detailed images. Copperas Cove ISD (www.ccisd.com), a school district on the western boundary of Fort Hood in Texas, has found the technology so impressive that after purchasing 180 interactive projectors from Boxlight in 2015, the district has just acquired 200 more.
Copperas Cove ISD was made aware of Boxlight’s array of interactive projectors by Technology for Education, a reseller that specializes in learning products for educators working with young children. The projector models selected are the P8 ultra short throw interactive projectors and the P12L ultra short throw laser pen-interactive projectors, which show interactive images as large as 115 inches. With this recent purchase, the district now has a total of 380 Boxlight interactive projectors for its 11 schools and 8,200 students.
“Our primary goal has always been to give schools a complete range of choices when it comes to equipping the modern classroom,” said Pat Henry, VP of Sale, Boxlight. “We are delighted to work with Copperas Cove and Technology for Education to give teachers the ability to create engaging lessons that allow students to easily collaborate and expand their learning.”
All Boxlight interactive projectors are full-featured hardware and software solutions that include the award-winning MimioStudio™ classroom software and three MimioMobile™ connections. When the projectors are used with the software and a MimioMobile classroom version, teachers can perform collaboration and assessment activities either at the front of the room or on almost any student device. Additionally, the projectors’ analog and digital audio/video connections ensure compatibility with virtually any PC, and users can employ them with Mac, Windows or Linux OS.
