I am getting an “Error removing previously recorded video. Make sure that the video is not opened in another application.” message.
We have figured out that there is an issue with the audio of the recorder causing this issue. There are two options that will fix this:
- Plug in a microphone.
- Go into MimioStudio Settings > Recorder > Audio Quality > Change to “No Audio”.
The Mimio Recorder saves as an .avi file. A separate converter would be required to save the file into different formats.
- Yes, Mimio software allows the capture of real time screen activity using the Recorder feature.
- The screen recording is saved as an .avi file.
- You must have your own audio recording device attached to/built into the computer to record voice data. The Mimio device will not record audio.
